Former ICU Nurse Shares Insights on COVID Protocols and Vaccine-Related Concerns
"In-depth Interviews: ICU Nurse Gail Macrae Reveals Ethical Concerns and Patient Risks Amid Hospital COVID Protocols"
During an exclusive interview ‘Vax-Unvax” Bus and The Defender, Gail Macrae, an ICU nurse from California, recounted her resistance against hospital COVID-19 protocols she believed breached medical ethics and led to heightened patient harm.
Employed at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Santa Rosa from 2015 until her dismissal in 2021 due to non-compliance with the staff vaccine mandate, Macrae observed an unprecedented surge in hospitalizations post-COVID-19 vaccine distribution. She highlighted unfamiliar side effects while established treatments were prohibited. Furthermore, she alleged that record-keeping systems were manipulated to conceal vaccine-related injuries and breakthrough infection instances.
Macrae asserted that hospital staff encountered threats for reporting adverse events and faced reprisals for objecting to protocols that restricted patient access and denied families involvement in treatment decisions.
Addressing parallel occurrences, Ken McCarthy's recent book, "What the Nurses Saw: An Investigation into Systemic Medical Murders That Took Place in Hospitals During the COVID Panic and the Nurses Who Fought Back," delves into comparable events.
"I felt as though I was betraying my professional oath."
During the initial months of the pandemic, Macrae noted that hospitals remained largely unoccupied as elective procedures were put on hold. This stark contrasted media reports of overwhelmed healthcare facilities.
Even amidst the 2020-2021 winter surge, primarily due to regular respiratory ailments, Macrae insisted that hospitals were never inundated. Her assertions aligned with similar observations made by colleagues statewide.
She expressed disillusionment, stating, "There was a blatant deception of the public, unveiling activities that should not have taken place."
Macrae highlighted stringent isolation measures for COVID-19 patients, barring families and advocates from visiting. According to her, these strict policies fueled unfettered fear propagated by the media and deprived patients of crucial support, opening the door for administrative coercion.
Despite COVID-19's severe inflammatory nature, Macrae lamented that experienced hospital staff were prevented from administering steroids, considered a vital treatment for such conditions. She condemned governmental and CDC directives prohibiting the use of steroids as "absolutely criminal."
This ban on steroids was not exclusive to California; McCarthy, in an AMP News interview, expressed astonishment at nurses reporting similar stringent protocols across the U.S., barring standard anti-inflammatories like steroids.
Macrae criticized the widespread use of remdesivir, despite evidence suggesting it caused more harm than benefit, labeling it as ineffective. She emphasized that antivirals, in general, showed limited efficacy beyond the initial two days of symptom onset.
Implying financial motives, Macrae highlighted the exorbitant cost of each dose of remdesivir, exceeding $3,000.
Summing up the impact of these restrictive policies, Macrae expressed a daily conflict with her professional oath, feeling compromised as a practitioner.
Post-vaccine rollout, a surge in hospitalizations and frequent 'code blue' alerts emerged.
With the introduction of COVID-19 vaccines in early 2021, Macrae noted an abrupt and substantial shift, marked by a staggering "300% increase in hospitalizations." Hospital staff found themselves grappling with unusual patient conditions, feeling overwhelmed by the surge.
Macrae detailed how 'code blue' alerts, signaling respiratory or cardiac arrest, escalated significantly, occurring as frequently as 10 times per shift. These emergencies were often linked to the lower level of the hospital where the vaccination clinic operated.
Colleagues who directly administered the shots revealed to Macrae, within a practitioner support group, witnessing alarming rates of 10 to 20 cases of anaphylactic shock daily. However, they feared termination if they spoke out publicly about these incidents.
During a taxing 16-hour shift across two units in late June 2021, Macrae received reports suggesting that all 60 patients displayed unusual injuries, likely stemming from the COVID-19 shots.
She described observing a rise in uncommon medical conditions such as blood clots, bleeding episodes, heart attacks, strokes, and occurrences of Bell’s Palsy during the initial stages of the vaccination drive.
Highlighting the emergence of unfamiliar peripheral vascular clotting disorders, Macrae emphasized her complete unfamiliarity with such conditions prior to this period.
Remarkably, she encountered four cases of "rapid onset" Guillain-Barré syndrome, a notable increase compared to her previous experience, where only two cases were witnessed throughout her years as an acute care nurse.
Macrae spoke directly with two patients who linked the onset of their conditions to receiving the COVID-19 shots within a day. Despite these incidents, the hospital and media persisted in attributing hospitalizations to the unvaccinated.
Moreover, Macrae alleged that the hospital's charting system was manipulated to avoid displaying post-vaccination breakthrough infections. She claimed that any patient diagnosed with COVID-19 was automatically labeled 'unvaccinated' within the chart, and any attempt to modify this led to the only alternative option of 'vaccination status unknown.' She indicated this issue was part of the limitations of the Epic software used in Kaiser Permanente hospitals, a fact supported by other sources.
"I've spoken with nurses nationwide who witnessed similar manipulation of charting systems," Macrae concluded.
"Dismissed, Manipulated, and Threatened"
At her hospital, Macrae recounted how staff were discouraged from making logical connections or filing reports. Her manager explicitly mentioned, "We can't report these incidents because we can't definitively prove that these [shots] are the cause."
Feeling constrained and silenced, she likened the situation to being restrained, silenced, and subjected to threats. Only around 30% of her colleagues acknowledged or were willing to voice similar concerns.
McCarthy's interviews with nurses nationwide revealed a consistent pattern of retaliation. Nurses who reported injection injuries or engaged with the media risked losing their jobs and facing damage to their professional reputations.
He emphasized the severe consequences faced by nurses who stood up against these issues, citing instances of individuals being fired, losing their licenses, and enduring personal attacks. One nurse even had to relocate and change her identity due to death threats, according to McCarthy, who highlighted organized groups, including one supported by the United Nations, targeting these nurses.
In August 2021, Macrae experienced intensified pressure at her hospital to receive the vaccine, despite presenting evidence of natural immunity through her bloodwork. However, this proof didn't prevent her dismissal.
Leading up to this, those who refused vaccines, whether staff or patients, faced various forms of belittlement, gaslighting, or undermining tactics.
In September, Macrae formally submitted notarized statements and blood tests proving her natural immunity while citing state, federal, and international laws supporting her right to decline the "experimental" vaccine. She included over 70 articles advocating for natural immunity's effectiveness.
However, her efforts resulted in her being placed on leave the next day and terminated within a week. According to Macrae, approximately 25 others at her facility and thousands of medical practitioners in California met similar fates.
Upon her departure, Macrae estimated that over 90% of hospitalized patients at her facility were fully vaccinated.
Despite the challenging aftermath, Macrae expressed ongoing frustration at being labeled and criticized, facing accusations of being paid to criticize the medical system or being called names like "monster."
She attributes her resilience during these tough times to her faith, her husband's unwavering support (a former civil engineer now studying law), and their 20-year marriage.
"I wouldn't trust hospitals for my family."
Expressing profound concern for the future of healthcare in the country, Macrae emphasized the criminalization and disciplinary actions taken against practitioners who aimed to safeguard patients and families.
"If a family member needed care, I wouldn't consider taking them to a hospital," she asserted, deeming it a perilous environment.
Echoing this sentiment, McCarthy categorically labeled ongoing medical practices as murders and emphasized that these protocols are persistently employed.
Describing the COVID-19 treatment as involving restricted water intake, isolation from loved ones, administering potent psychoactive drugs, and pressuring patients into intubation and ventilation, McCarthy highlighted a decrease in mortality due to fewer people being diagnosed and consequently avoiding hospitalization.
He cautioned against accepting sedatives, emphasizing that once administered, individuals could be involuntarily held under the pretext of being a danger to themselves or others, citing the law of medical kidnapping.
Macrae, while acknowledging her hopefulness, expressed a desire for the crumbling of the existing medical system, believing it should be rebuilt on principles of ethical and genuine human interaction, which she felt had been largely absent from these institutional systems.
The Path Ahead
Macrae, alongside medical professionals like Dr. Christiane Northrup, established Stand Firm Now, aiming to collect expert witness testimonies from medical practitioners through notarized affidavits. These testimonies, accessible to attorneys worldwide, aim to address the absence of substantial evidence in court proceedings, preventing lawsuits from being dismissed by judges.
The objective is to empower litigants with credible evidence, crucial for convincing judges to explore cases rather than dismissing them as mere conspiracy theories or misinformation.
Recently, Macrae, acting as a pro se litigant, filed a lawsuit against individuals at Kaiser Permanente, state and county health officers, and her union representative for allegedly failing to support her when the hospital mandated the experimental drug. Although the suit was initially dismissed, it's now under federal-level appeal, a development Macrae is enthusiastic about, citing a shift in legal jurisdiction by targeting individuals instead of corporations.
Expressing the need to operate outside the legal influence of federal agencies that compromise medical ethics, Macrae is spearheading the development of a new private healthcare system nationwide, ensuring ethical and moral compliance.
Meanwhile, McCarthy highlighted the efforts of organizations like the American Frontline Nurses and the Nurse Freedom Network. These nonprofits offer advocacy, education, and direct nursing services to the public, particularly aiding individuals amid the challenges posed by COVID-19. Their focus includes both intervention within hospitals and preventing hospitalization, which they view as a last resort for individuals seeking medical assistance.
... and so what? The plan is to continue to talk about this until the jabs themselves get insulted, pick up their syringes then walk away? I love how everyone here is avoiding acknowledging that their surrogate Daddies in office who not only KNOW all this yet continue to mandate it for their Own Profit even in the face of saving children's lives.
If this belief in these people http://allaregreen.us/ as Your Protectors is more important to you than children's lives, kill them yourselves already. Instead of this fake passive allowing of it to continue while murmuring what you KNOW are ineffective protests doomed to fail.
