Vice President Kamala Harris has accepted President Joe Biden's endorsement to replace him as the Democratic party nominee after he stepped down from the ticket on July 21. In a statement posted to X on Sunday, she expressed her gratitude for Biden's leadership and service. "On behalf of the American people, I thank Joe Biden for his extraordinary leadership as President of the United States and for his decades of service to our country," Harris said. "I am honored to have the President’s endorsement, and my intention is to earn and win this nomination."
